"What I have noticed has happened to me is that as I extricated myself from my identification with my personality variables so strongly, they started to change. They started to lighten and loosen. To be in relationships with things a different way. They become your style rather than your root identity. As the awareness pulls back, one of the things you see is the way in which your mind creates models of reality and expectations about what is about to happen next - which is a way in which you keep control."

Via GBF \\\ Thangka Exhibition & Talk in the Castro

I was strolling Market Street with Cass and we came across this artist's exhibition of beautiful framed Buddhist thangka paintings (not cloth hangings).

It's stunning vibrant art - very worth seeing, and just the website provides an amazing education on this type of work.

The gallery has scheduled free talks about:
  • The artist and his world-renowned work
  • His process and natural materials
  • The region of Nepal that inspires his work
Free Talks - Today 1:00 and 4:00pm | June 5, 6, 7, 12, 13

Enjoy!

Love & Light,
