Today: NGLCC Rings Closing Bell At NYSE
Representatives of the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce will ring the stock market's closing bell today in recognition of Pride Month. The market closes at 4pm.
I post these tidbits to demonstrate that being gay or lesbian is no longer a scandal... The "letter" the GBF wrote to the NSA used this quote from the beloved Guardian, in regards to removing individual administrative rights:
Only when an individual's behavior becomes a matter of genuine public scandal, such as in the case of public sexual behavior, which would result in general public condemnation and scandal; should administrative action be taken, and then with great constraint. (ref. letter from the Guardian 20 August 1955).
